I decided to do this whole tutoring thing with Ben. We all know I need it and he offered up his services so why not? I mean, I like him he's cool so I might as well take his help instead of trying to get help from some complete stranger at school when it's way too late right? That is what happened last year. But getting this tutoring from someone who knows you personally is totally different. I got a lecture. I didn't really see it as a lecture because there was no yelling and no power tools present. He didn't make a chart. But he did make a list of things I have to do. That list did include rules against using my phone and computer during my homework time. He also hit on that pride thing again. He also gave me homework. Maybe you could consider it a mini lecture. But we got stuff done and he offered to help every Tuesday. I like it. I like that he wants to help. Then he threatened me, saying he won't come to my graduation party if I don't do my best.
1) Get book
2) Ask for calculator
3) Pay attention and take notes
4) Do homework with no technology while doing homework
5) Ask teacher about the circle
That was the list... A lot of work if you ask me.
But yes, I do want to graduate.
