If I could have any one thing

It would be the assurance that the people I love most and need most, no, the person that I love most and need most will always be here tomorrow. The statement "You aren't guaranteed tomorrow" has been made too much of a reality in my life the past few months. And my biggest fear? Losing my best friend, the person I need the most, the one person I'm pretty sure I couldn't live without. Actually I wouldn't be alive without her. Yep. I got a good one. Let's just hope I get to keep her around for a while. Unlike some other people.
